  • Communication and System Issues

  • We are not responsible for any issues caused by internet disruptions, technical problems with external tools (such as Zoom or Google Meet), or other issues beyond our control.
    However, if a lesson cannot proceed due to an issue on the instructor's side, a make-up lesson or refund may be offered (see Refund Policy).

  • Disputes with Third Parties

  • We shall not be held liable for any disputes between learners and instructors, or between users and third parties.
    That said, we may take appropriate action within our scope of management responsibility, depending on the situation.

Terms of Service – General Principles

These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as "these Terms") set forth the conditions for using the Japanese language online lesson services (hereinafter referred to as "the Service") provided by [Website Name] (hereinafter referred to as "the Website").
By using the Service, users are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Article 1: Scope of Application

These Terms shall apply to all relationships between the user and the Website in connection with the use of the Service.

Article 2: Description of the Service

The Service provides Japanese language lessons to learners via online platforms such as Zoom or Google Meet.

Article 3: Registration and Application

Anyone wishing to use the Service must agree to these Terms and complete the registration or lesson application through the prescribed method.

By completing the registration or application, the user is deemed to have agreed to the contents of these Terms.

Article 4: Reservations and Cancellations

Lesson reservations must be made using the reservation form specified by the Website or by directly contacting the instructor.

Cancellations should, in principle, be made at least 24 hours before the lesson start time.

If a cancellation is made within 24 hours or without notice, the full lesson fee for one session will be charged.

Article 5: Fees and Payment

Lesson fees are as listed on the Website.

Payment must be made in advance by credit card, PayPal, or other methods specified by the Website.

As a general rule, paid fees are non-refundable.

Article 6: Prohibited Conduct

Users shall not engage in the following acts:

  • Causing inconvenience or engaging in inappropriate behavior toward other users, instructors, or third parties

  • Interfering with the operation of the Service

  • Recording, filming, or distributing lesson content without mutual prior consent

  • Conducting paid lessons or transactions outside the Service without permission
    (*Communication with the instructor for scheduling or lesson details is allowed.)

Article 7: Disclaimers

The Website shall not be liable for temporary unavailability of the Service due to internet or system failures.

The Website shall not be responsible for any connection issues caused by the user’s own device or network environment.

Article 8: Discontinuation of Ongoing Lessons

If a user wishes to discontinue ongoing lessons, they must notify the instructor or the Website.
The end of lessons will be coordinated based on prior reservations and payment status.
Any remaining unused lessons may be subject to use or partial refund in accordance with the refund policy.

Article 9: Revisions to the Terms

The Website reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice if deemed necessary.
Revised Terms shall take effect at the time they are posted on the Website.

Article 10: Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
Any disputes arising in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court located in the area of the Website's headquarters as the court of first instance.

Lesson Reservations

Lessons can be reserved by consulting directly with the instructor or through the Website.
Reservations should be made at least 24 hours in advance of the desired lesson time.

Cancellations and Changes

  • Cancellations or changes to the lesson schedule must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled lesson time, or no-shows without notice, will be counted as one used lesson.

  • If a lesson is canceled due to the instructor's circumstances, a make-up lesson or refund will be offered.

Internet Connection

Please ensure that you have a stable internet connection.
If a lesson cannot be held due to connection issues or device problems on the learner’s side, the lesson may not be eligible for rescheduling or refund.

Tools Used

Lessons are conducted using online tools such as Zoom or Google Meet.
Please prepare and test your system in advance to ensure smooth participation.

Ending Ongoing Lessons (Discontinuing Lessons)

  • If you wish to stop regular lessons, please notify the instructor or the Website no later than the day before your next scheduled lesson.

  • If you have unused lessons remaining, you may be eligible for rescheduling or partial refund depending on the conditions (see Refund Policy).
